About Me

The Full Story

 

Life has everything in it, but you only see what your perception allows you to see. You are the main character in your story, which is why I take a person-centered approach to counseling and Wellness. There, of course, is a reason for the feelings you have in the here and now, such as trauma, etc. Working through those hurdles and finding your light again is my primary purpose. Healing the body, mind, and spirit together helps create you into the person you desire to be. As a person-centered counselor, I focus on how the client experiences life and, through that, facilitates therapeutic change.

Using the proper technique for you, we will work together to determine the "what" and the "whys" that create the disturbance in your life. I am trained in EMDR, ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy), Neurofeedback, and Energy Mapping! By applying different healing modalities, let's work together to get you where you are, living your fullest life!

Along with individual counseling, I am passionate about working with couples, teens, and children. My experience includes trauma, substance abuse, anxiety, faith navigation, depression, along with stress and coping. Wherever you are in your journey, I am here to help you discover, navigate, and serve your highest self!

Carl Jung taught that it is what you are that heals, not what you know. Although I have a wealth of knowledge in training and modalities, my passion for healing comes from my own growth journey, and my desire to help others that are navigating their path, in need of some guidance, but also a safe space to heal as well. I have a strong belief in the alignment of Mind, body, and spirit and supporting the person as a whole!
